Parcela Agricola- Patrimonial in the village of Bethlehem, the Chilean altiplano
The land is set in Bethlehem, a small pre-cordillerano house located 3,270 metres above sea level, 70 km from Putre and 144 km from Arica. Recognized for its colonial architecture in adobe and its traditional layout, Bethlehem has been declared a National Monument for its cultural richness and landscape beauty.
Among its main attractions are the Church of St. James the Apostle, the Church of the Virgin of the Candelaria and the Pucará of Bethlehem, in addition to its proximity to the Lauca National Park, the National Reserve Las Vicinas and the Quebrada Natural Monument of Cardones.
The people celebrate every July 25 their most important holiday in honor of San Santiago, local patron, on which occasion the whole community meets around ancestral traditions, music and altiplanic dances.
